I think I've had selective mutism for my whole life. My family dismissed my quietness as mere shyness. They didn't do anything, since they also have shyness and anxiety.
But what happens when someone has selective mutism go untreated for twelve years?
It turned into complete silence.
What came of that? Well, I got teased. I got put under pressure to talk. I got a lot of pressure.
Pressure in a selectively mute person is NOT right.
Expectations for me to talk just make me more anxious.
But nobody expects me to talk anymore.
Nobody cares anymore.
Why am I stressing myself out?
I want help. I need help.
I want to get over this.
But I can't figure out the first steps.

I guess I'll just deal with this untreated silence a while longer.

May 5th

Oh, yes. I still had my cuff at this point. Seren went destructive on me last month and pretty much destroyed it... It's still in one piece, but uncomfortable to wear.

... Then I went a while without going so camera-obsessed. I really wish I had used my camera more. But anyways, here are a few recent pictures.

Yes, Serendipity, I have a whole photo album just for you.  :) There's just one picture in it, so I have to print a few sometime...

Yep, she was getting big even back then. (Last month?)

 Here I was playing with her and a toy rose... er, yeah...

 May 5th, because...that's when we got her. yup.

Drawings? I've got a few of those...

Last month. Pretty much just experimenting with it because I hadn't drawn dogs in a while... The colors got messed up, her legs don't really look like that.

I drew this one today. I like it, pretty much. It's an improvement.

Pretty much the first time I have ever painted anything in my life. My sister has a TON of art canvases (like, six XD) she has had for a few years and hasn't used up, so I sort of... "stole" one and "stole" some of her red paint and my own paints my school sent :P (she has a suit case with tons of paint, but I can't get her password thing. So I took the red paint she just left laying around... Yeah, my school didn't send enough paint for the whole background.)

Oh, yes. You're probably wondering why I uploaded all of this and made your computer half-way die of lag and stuff. Well, pretty much I'm writing a story about Seren (shall I post it? -eyeroll- Lol.) and needed inspiration so I ended up going through pictures and HAD to upload them somewhere... Heh. :P

Ooookay so you know that blog I said I'd upload with a ton of pictures and a journalthing I was writing for 4 days straight? Weeelllll the journalthing was on my iPod and I forgot to e-mail it to myself before letting Josh wipe my iPod and give it to someone else. XD I still have all the pictures, though... Meh. I'll have to e-mail them to myself five-at-a-time... I'll do that right now...

Done, but I only e-mailed 10 to myself out of 80. XD The rest aren't worth it.
Now to try uploading them all here. Whoopdedo.

This was from the 1st of July. I got blisters on my fingers, but cheered it up with Hello Kitty and Sharpie smiley faces. :) Childish of me.

Hehe, I look strange... This is a cute thing I found (it was on the bathroom wall for ages then broke so I took it) and put it on my wall. Ad astra per aspera! :)

You have to admit I own a cutie... :) (Oh no, there was an awesome Bryn-made hat on the floor. :/ I don't like it being on the floor, makes it look disrespected.)

Never will you see a picture of me looking "normal". Never. (Yes, I have a bracelet-making bag and hang it on my wall :))

She's trying to convince me she's innocent. Hahaha. Yeah, right. 

First ever picture seen of her, put in the first page of my photo album. :) This makes me incredibly happy to have. (It makes Seren fairly happy, too!)

I tried drawing her... But she was outside at the time, and I didn't feel like looking at pictures of her. So I messed up on her leg markings... (They aren't supposed to have tan points that big...)

Drew my brothers role-play cat for my brother... The nose looks like a cow nose and the shoulder is in the wrong spot... ^^; (Yeah, he's a fire god, so there's fire. xD)

Ugh... I've taken about 5 pictures of this and none of them show it in good quality. :| I guess you'll just have to see it in person, Bryn!:) (Yes, this is the "oh so amazing" book I made. It's clipped to a half-bracelet I made, the bracelet string wasn't long enough to make a bracelet OR necklace.... That and I have no necklace chains...)

Yeah, most people I know hate eye-makeup. But I felt like putting eye-makeup on when I woke up this morning. Deal with it? :)
